On Tuesday evening, April 1, ten of the folks from our chapel got together in our basement to pack parcels to send to Zambia.Helmut had to finish hemming a few receiving blankets in order to complete a few more baby kits.
Here are several views of the sisters packing the boxes.
When the boxes are full they are carried by the men or boys to the workshop where the men seal, address and weigh them.
Then they are carried to the bedroom and stacked.
Later David tallied up all the weight. We had 43 boxes with a total weight of over 1800 pounds.
Then we all went upstairs and had a good snack furnished by four of the sisters.
After the snack, Helmut, Oscar & Michael loaded our van.
Today we drove the load to Jeffries Vegetable Growers and some of the employees helped Helmut unload it.
FINISHED for another 5 or 6 months.

That was a good tour Jean! What a great way to make service fun and hospitable! It was neat to see all those people again!
