This is a beautiful day and my garden is calling me. Long posts will have to wait for another time. I need to plant one more row of beans and one of carrots and also a little spinach to finish the vegetable patch. Then there are dozens of flowers yet to go.

I hope that you got your veggies and flowers planted. It has been cool here this week, until today. It has also been very windy. 50mph on Wed., and a little less windy on Thurs. I had taken out my 3 tall housplants on Wed., so they went through the high winds. I did keep them up on the porch. Well, after supper tonight, I went out and transplanted them into bigger pots. They were really root-bound. I think I just may leave them outside. I have never put them out. Matt and Sarah got back from SD, extremely tired. I think they were going to go home and crash. Our talking book this week is on the dust bowl of the high plains and the depression in the 1930's. Fascinating as well as dreadful.
